Are you an Israeli seeking a job in the United States?
Are you an American* family seeking an Israeli babysitter or nanny? *(Other countries coming soon)
We have the answers...
We are an Israeli-American family based in New York City, USA. When we sought out a babysitter and nanny for our growing family, we naturally thought about an Israeli to fulfill this role and to speak Hebrew to our children exclusively. We believed that this would be an incredible gift that we could give to our children. To be fluent in Hebrew. Not just a Jewish education, but also the Hebrew language. The problem is that there are limited sources and resources as well as limited communications between Israelis that can work and families that want to hire. That is why we started this service. We believe there is a need for this service within our community.

What is the difference between a babysitter and a nanny?
We believe that a babysitter works part-time and a nanny usually works full-time. Ultimately though, this is up to you. Whether you call a person a babysitter or nanny doesn't really matter. Also please check out http://www.israelinanny.com for more information.
Some things to watch out for:
Some young Israelis will not (can not?) commit to a long term assignment. Make sure you are up front about the job and what you are seeking in a nanny or babysitter. Be careful in terms of knowing that an Israeli has a family back home in Israel and might decide to go back at any time.
